Welcome to Rovor! This guide covers everything you need to know to begin your journey as a Rovor driver.

How to Become a Driver

Follow these steps to join the Rovor driver network:

1. Meet the basic requirements: Be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver's license for at least 3 years, and pass a background check.
2. Submit your application: Download the Rovor Driver app and complete the online application form.
3. Upload required documents: Provide your driver's license, vehicle registration, insurance documents, and any commercial licenses if applicable.
4. Complete the background check: Our comprehensive background check typically takes 3-7 business days.
5. Schedule vehicle inspection: Once approved, schedule an inspection at one of our approved centers.
6. Attend orientation: Complete our online orientation program to learn about the app, safety procedures, and best practices.

Required Documents

• Valid BC driver's license (Class 5 or higher, depending on vehicle type)
• Vehicle registration in your name or authorized commercial use documentation
• Proof of commercial vehicle insurance
• Clean driver's abstract (obtained within the last 30 days)
• Passport or BC Services Card for identity verification

Background Check Process

All drivers must pass our background check which includes:

• Criminal record check
• Driving record review
• Identity verification
• Reference verification (for commercial vehicle operators)

The process typically takes 3-7 business days. You'll receive email updates on your application status.
